Meet Your Host

I’m Gayle Kalvert—founder of Creo Collective, longtime marketing exec, mom of three, and now, host of Work In Progress.

For the last 25 years, I’ve built a career helping some of the world’s most innovative tech companies tell their stories and grow their brands. From startups to global enterprises, I’ve worked alongside leaders to craft strategy, build trust, and drive results. I’ve also built a company of my own—Creo Collective—a marketing agency that partners with B2B brands to create meaningful, measurable impact.

But here’s the thing: despite the polished LinkedIn version of my life, I’m still figuring it out. And the more women I talk to—working moms, entrepreneurs, leaders, caregivers—the more I realize I’m not alone.

Work in Progress is my space—and yours—to get honest about all of it. The pivots and pressure. The big questions and quiet doubts. The messy, unfiltered, in-between moments we don’t always talk about.

Because we’re all a work in progress. And I don’t know about you, but I’d rather do it together than pretend I’ve got it all handled.

This is for those of us who are trying.

Trying to juggle all the things. Trying to make sense of what they want. Trying to keep their heads above water without losing themselves in the process.

Career. Money. Relationships. The pressure to do it all. The pressure to want it all. And the moments you secretly wonder, is it just me?

Here we speak openly, laugh through chaos, and ask questions instead of pretending to have all the answers.

Because we’re all a work in progress.

No one has it all figured out.

And anyone who says they do?

Well, they’re lying.
